HVAC Training Center, Inc. is a
Texas State
Licensed school that specializes in
fast-track, hands-on, HVAC (heating, air conditioning and ventilation) training.
HVAC training that targets the
"real world" requirements of
an entry-level Heating and Air Conditioning Service Technician. Seasoned HVAC professionals
with years of experience as service technicians, service managers, air
conditioning and heating business owners have combined their practical
and teaching experience to produce a
revolutionary approach to HVAC training. Students without
any previous technical
experience are able to begin with the basics and rapidly progress to having
the skills required of entry-level service technicians.
Electrical circuitry, airflow, heating, and air conditioning are just a few of the many topics covered. Custom designed diagnostic worksheets and computer-based learning tools are found exclusively at HTC. Section 608 EPA Technician Certification training and testing is also included in the program.
Training software, such as the Refrigeration Basics Interactive Training CD, is utilized to enhance the learning experience.
Hands-on
training complements the academic studies at HTC. A task
list consisting of a number of technical and professional challenges
must
be completed before graduation. 
Professional Procedures Training is another unique feature of this one-of-a-kind training center. Proper invoice writing procedures, map reading, personal appearance, vehicle care, safety, customer skills and marketing are among the topics covered. HTC recognizes the importance of their students becoming safe, professional, and productive employees. Training in the area of ethically marketing repairs, system upgrades, service agreements, and accessory items make HTC graduates a favorite among prospective employers.
HVAC Training Center, Inc. is dedicated to assisting their graduates become service technicians. From assisting with resumes to maintaining a growing network of quality HVAC companies that are interested in hiring their well-trained graduates.
Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion from the course entitled "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems Technician".
Located in the rural community of Hockley, TX (about 30 miles NW of Houston), HTC offers a small classroom learning environment. Students can maintain full-time jobs while attending morning or evening classes. HTC offers three semesters per year, each lasting three months. Qualifying classroom students can take advantage of financing plans for their tuition.
